Spotify on Amazon Fire TV
I have a fairly small TV, given today’s giant, curved screens – it’s about 35″ diagonally – but that’s surely large enough to be able to use most apps, isn’t it? Well, it would be, if the people who develop these apps just realized that not everyone has a 100″ monster screen! But even if I did have a huge screen, I would hate this interface.
Here’s a couple of problems:
- You get big album art, but a small font album name, and even smaller artist name
- As you scroll thru the album icons, it’s not easy to identify the currently-selected album, which has a SLIGHTLY larger image than other albums
- What sequence is it in? There are no options for this, no personalization you can do, not even pre-defined categories or similar options for organizing and displaying your library
